My Name Is...

When you've got a moniker like mine, you don't expect to see it too often. And you certainly don't expect to see it on a deli counter, or an antique tractor trailer. Such is the fun of doing domain name searches with your own last name.

I particularly like that first one. Classy.

Hey, what's the deal with the deli counter and the trailer?? Oddly enough, I used to sell cutting boards to many companies (in the US) that made deli counters. What does the guy with the trailer do? They're probably both related to us, if you go back a few generations.

As far as I can tell, the deli counter is from a company called Kurzenberger (www.kurzenberger.de) that does metal finishing, and the trailer is another company, also called Kurzenberger (www.kurzenberger.com), that makes trucks and buses. It's hard to tell...both the sites are in other languages.

Try doing a Google search for David Vaughan sometime. There are about 10,000 others, all of them cooler than I am. Like this guy: http://www.antarctica.ac.uk/News_and_Information/Stories/2000/dgv_rilecture_summary.html

Even better is the David Vaughan who played "3rd Jock" in BETTER OFF DEAD.

With a name like yours, buddy, you've got a lot to live up to.

I would like to know if this Eric is my cousin Eric Kurzenberger, that I have been trying to get in touch with.
