I Like to Watch

The Saturday morn (well, early afternoon, I slept late, so sue me) brings with it a multitude of glorious entertainments, courtesy of the Internets: the gorgeous new Legend of Zelda trailer, the hilarious teaser for the long-awaited full-length Wallace & Gromit feature, Spike Jonze's fantastic new Adidas commercial, and, requiring no enticing adjectives, the Star Wars Episode III trailer. My joy knows no bounds.

Have a good weekend, all.

That Wallace and Gromit trailer is amazing.

i thought the Zelda trailer was for a Zelda movie; I got really excited, then really disappointed when I saw it. Except that the whole time I was thinking, "This is a terrible-looking movie, but an amazing-looking video game." Then I screwed my head back on straight. Whoa. Nice video game.

And that picture in your roator script with the little plastic people in the foreground and you guys in the background? CREE-PY! Especially the out-of-focus blonde one on the left. He looks like he's going to kill all three of you. What are those people called again?

And oh, I'm coming to LA in 10 days. Crazy.

"How on earth would they ever catch such a big rabbit?"
"With a big trap!"
"By jove, he's...he's got it!"

Nick Park's a genius. As for Zelda, I don't normally geek out about video games, but it's looking like it's gonna be one for the ages. I love the shots of him riding a horse, shooting at the things flying around. Very cinematic.

I forget what those little plastic people are called...they belong to the missus and have been hanging around for years. I'll probably put up new headers soon.

Shoot me an email when you're in LA. We should meet up. Like the new site!
